Meet our Relaxed Stretchy SUZUMU Lounge Pants!
The woven fabric of our lounge pants is developed by improving traditional Japanese fabric, inspired by "steteco." Steteco were originally created in the late 1800s as undergarments to be worn beneath traditional Japanese clothing, such as kimonos. Even after Western clothing became common, steteco continued to be used as underwear and casual home wear, including comfortable loungewear. The design of these lounge pants falls just below the knee, retaining the original length of traditional steteco while enhancing comfort. The fabric offers a cool, dry-touch feel that has been loved for a long time, dating back to the days when there were no air conditioners during Japan's hot and humid summers.
Easy to wear, cool and lightweight, these pants are the comfy casual wear for relaxing at home or will be the perfect sleepwear to welcome a refreshed new day ahead after sleeping better. These pants have a comfortable and classic straight cut.

No chemical fibers were added by weaving with the special method and shrinking the originally 160cm (5.25ft) fabric to 108cm (3.5ft) (deepening the ridge)!
